It has been too long...
Here we go. Two months ago I wrote a post that was titled- Finally a new post----but it has been two months. I figured that today is as good a day as any to write a another newer post. Summer is here and is almost over. Work is terrible, there is no fun in working. I think Im going to pan handle for a living. I have heard that some homeless folk make about 250-300 dollars an hour begging for money. It has all been pretty good. I know that any frequent readers I once had are long gone by now. I wish I had more things to write about but right now I am pretty drained. I have had so much going on over the last week.

Finally a new Update
Today is Tuesday, and what a beautiful day it has been. I have been having a great week. I have been reading a book for my Intro to Government class and some things have been brought to my attention. There are so many things left out of our high school text books. We learn who people are, but we dont learn about them. We all know that the government moved the Native Americans from the eastern woodlands to the west. We dont hear about the murders, we dont hear about manifest destiny. How their whole culture, their whole world was destroyed. We blame and look down on the Germans for their pertaking in the holocost, but we did the same thing. We did the same thing. Our reasons behind the genocide are out played and hold no water. We needed land, they were hostile. We moved so many tribes of proud people to reservations in the west. We take land from other people so that we can keep others in captivity. It is ridiculous. I know that it all happened 200 years ago but it just bothers me that a people can do that to another.

Its April Already
Today I was thinking, man this year has really flown by. As of today there is about a month of school left. yep. Summer is on its way. Only a month till I get to sleep in my own bed, eat my momma's cooking and hang out with my girl friend. I am so ready. I like school, and I like being down here but Im ready for Summer time. School has been a good experience. I am glad that I decided to go to college. This has been alot better than working in a mill. Maybe the next three years will fly by like this one. Im ready to teach and make money doing what I want to do.

Another Day,
Wow, The past week has been both awesome and terrible all in the same breath. My 22nd birthday has come and gone and Easter has passed. Every thing has gone well. This morning I find out that a friend of mine was killed in a car accident this morning. Im at a loss for words. I really dont know what to think right now. Its numbing, really. We are twenty two years old. We cant die. My God, we are invincible, or at least we think that we are. But I guess thats not the case.

Hey, Its almost my birthday
I was sitting here tonight and I was thinking, boy its March already. There are only 18 shopping days left untill my birthday. I know that it isnt a big deal, blah blah blah, but Its my Birthday. yep. Im almost old. Well thats what I used to think. But now I look at thirty being old. Not really. My ideas of being 'old' have changed over the past few years. Old isnt the number of years that you have lived. You are as old as you feel. I know people my age that act like fifty year olds, and then again I know fifty year olds that act like they are 22. Its all in your head. I am going to be a kid all of my life. I have decided that I am always going to be optimistic about people, and about the future, just like a child. Thats what matters. Live your life positivley and try to touch someone every day. A word of kindness or encouragement is all that it takes. Ladies and gentlemen, that is my word of thought for the day. Now, it is my bed time. William Allouicious Bradley, Esquire, is out.

Happy Days are Here Again
Its finally Friday and I am on the verge of another weekend of doing nothing. Yep, its great. Short on cash and spring break is a week away. Maybe I can go sell some plasma or something. I might even sell my roomate's truck on Ebay. Anybody want a white Ford? Ill sell it cheap, a couple grand, that sounds good. How about a horse, any body want to buy a decent roping horse? I have one of those for sale, too. Yep. Well, I guess thats about it for the time being. When your up, it's never as good as it seems, and when your down you never think your going to be back up again......remember that. Good words to live by.

Another Mind Numbing Post
Have you ever wanted something so bad that when you got it it wasnt as good you thought it was going to be? I am hoping and praying that Spring break hurries up and gets here. Its something that I have been thinking about alot lately. I have been thinking about how great its going to be to sleep in MY bed for a week, and how I get to hang out with my girlfriend. Thats great, and I know that it is going to be great but I hope that Im not over doing it. I have got nine days until I leave this awesome place for spring break. Everybody I know is heading south towards the beach and Florida, and I am running in the opposite direction. Headed north. 3 and 1/2 half hours if the traffic coming through Atlanta is clear. I am so ready.

The world as I see it
Here we are, another glorious February day. Its about 65 or 70 degrees outside and I am sitting here typing on my computer. How boring is that. I really havent had a whole lot to say lately and I didnt just want to type up alot of jibberish. Today I figured that I would get on here and make myself write a short commentary on the world around me. Nothing huge has happened since the last time that I posted. Ward Churchill has stirred up a lot of stuff, and is completely out of line by the things that he says. Anyone who calls for more terroristic attacks on his own country, or any country for that matter is not hitting on all cylinders.
In other news my roomates and I have had a time trying to keep our appartment clean. Yesterday we decided to totally clean everything. We would have made our mommas proud. The only deal is one of our roomates is a total slob and never does anything for himself. All of a sudden he is getting on us for things that we accidentaly leave lying out. Its stupid. I dont understand it. He has left out mayo, ketchup, mustard and things like that for the past week. He still hasnt cleaned that up and he thinks that he is the god of the appartment. I dont know, maybe we should just beat him up or something. It might do him some good.
I guess that is all that I have got for now. I guess im just a bore. I really doubt that anyone ever reads this but if anyone does, thank you for taking the time to check out by blog.

College Football and the BCS
Is the so called Bowl Championship Series the best thing for division one college football? I for one belive that the system needs to be changed. Does the Big East Confrence deserve an automatic BCS bid? Does Texas deserve to be in the Rose Bowl insetead of Cal? I think that Cal is the better team. They are the only team in the nation that is in the top 6 in total offense and defense. Mack Brown begged for BCS votes after Texas beat A&M. Was that the right thing to do? no, a coach should let his team's play prove a point. If we take Division-I and have a 16 team playoff that may help the situation. If you want bowls you let the games be bowls. The winners progress untill the national championship. Thats my opinion. I believe that a playoff would be better than the current BCS. This is a list of the BCS bowls and teams that are involved

Whoooooooo, I know that it has been a while since I posted last but here goes. I really have not had a lot of things to talk about as of late. Baseball season is over, the political hoopla has cooled off, and College football has slowed down untill the middle of the month. Its all good though. In the words of a friend of mine, I aint studin' it. It'll be alright. I just figured that I would get on here and waste some words. If anyone out there reads this semi regularly im sorry. I guess I am just a boring person. Thanksgiving went well. Christmas is coming up. Whoooooooooo, bring on more ham and turkey, and crazy relatives and all of that jive. I just love crazy relatives, I have more than my share.
I was just sitting here thinking, "This year has just flown by" I cant belive it. Here I am at college, and just four and a half months ago I was working a full time job. Its amazing how fast things can change. I guess that life is cool like that. No matter what is going on it can easily change for the better. I will think of something better to write on later this week. I have got to do English homework now. Whooooooooooo, maybe I can pay a kid down the hall to do it. yeah, I love college.

I like Zell Miller Even Though His Own Party Doesnt..
I was reading the Atlanta Journal-Constitution today and I saw where former Georgia Governor Zell Miller is stepping down from his Senate seat. The only people who came to the floor to salute him on his accomplishments were Republicans. Zell Miller is a Democrat, ladies and gentlemen. No one from his own party would give him a farewell. I know that he upset them by siding with President Bush but that was his perogative. He stepped in for Paul Coverdale a few years ago after Coverdale passed away from complications from a stroke. He didnt have to, but I am glad that he did.

Wow a baseball discussion in the middle of November
Its time for another great post and or commentary on whatever I want. Yep. That's the ticket. Is Pedro Martienez going to the NY Yankees? I saw on Sports Center that he had a meeting with the Boss, George Steinbrenner, some time this week. But you know that is baseball. Gone are the days of players spending entire careers with one team. I mean how many guys that are on the Yankees have been with them for thier whole careers? There are few guys any where that have been in the bigs for five years and are still with the team that they came up with. That is what has happened since free agency came into play in the Major Leagues.
I have another thing to discuss tonight and that is the Designated Hitter in the American League. The DH has been around since 1973, I think, It may be '69, but the question is is the DH needed. The DH is the biggest difference in the two leagues. Do we need it now? The designated hitter was put into the line up to boost attendence in the AL. The majority of the great power hitters of the time were in the NL. The AL owners wanted higher scoring ballgames. Thirty or so years later the leagues are as balanced as they have ever been. This season the greatest DH of all time, Edgar Martienez, has retired. I belive that it is time to retire the DH. That is just what I belive.

Its the middle of november already. This year and semester have flown by. There is a lot of stuff going on in Washington here lately. Ashcroft and Powell have both steped down from their cabinet positions. Who is going to replace them is anybody's guess. Heard that Condelleza Rice could be the next Secratary of State. That is only a rumor. Yassir Arrafat has passed away. Is this going to hurt or help the push for peace between Palestine and Israel? Your guess is as good as mine.

Great Googily Moogily
Yep, here we are on the cusp of another Wednesday. Im sitting here in the late hours before bed time racking my head trying to think of what to write. I dont know, I have had so much stuff come up this week its hard for me not to have something to give my opinion on. and yes ladies and gentlemen I said opinion. Everything on this site is strictly opinion. Some visitors to this site dissagree with my views and thats okay. We are all different. But If you want to take it farther than that and take it as an assault on your ideas and beliefs you can go somewheres else. You are not being forced to visit this blog. Unless you are tied to a chair with your eye lids taped to the top of your head, then you are being forced to look at it. Its all good though. I just figured that I would get that off of my chest. I have been doing the blog thing for about 2 1/2 or 3 months now. Its been pretty cool. My blog has been a place for me to vent on things that are going on. I can and do talk about whatever I want. If anyone who stumbles upon my blog has ever thought about blogging I say go for it. Its a cool thing to do. Well thats about it folks. Im rapping it up, ready to call it a night. I have history at 8 in the morning and I cant afford to sleep through it. I shall catch you on the flip side. Yeah, Yeah.....
Baseball's Rookies of the year named
Yesterday Major League Baseball named its rookies of the year for the 2004 season. In the American League, Oakland shortstop Bobby Crosby won the award. Crosby hit .239 with 22 home runs and 64 runs batted in. Had a solid year replacing former MVP and current Baltimore shortstop Miguel Tejada. In the National League Jason Bay won the award. The Pittsburgh left Fielder was the first ever rookie of the year for the Pirates. That is amazing considering Barry Bonds and Roberto Clemente both started out with the Pirates. Bay hit .282 this season with 26 homeruns and 82 RBI. I was suprised the the NL award didnt go to Khalil Greene of San Dieago. Bay had a strong season and Greene was hurt for part of the season. Either player would have been a good pick. The NL Cy Young award comes out today and tomarrow the Managers of the year will be announced.
